Paleo/Fitness update 7/23/15
This is just a quick update.
Nicky and I are both working towards getting into shape. The goal isn’t to be body building elites, its to just be fit and not succumb to the pitfall of obesity.
I saw a stat that said less than 1% of obese people will ever reach a healthy weight again. I also saw a stat that said only 6% of smokers will quit and I did that so…Time to be the1% BABY!
I’m almost under 280 for the first time in over 3 months. This feels good.

Good going Joe. It’s easy to get off track, but important to get back on. I had my foot operation on May 18 and have not been able to be quite as active the last two months and started putting on a few pounds. My foot is slowly getting better and I’m anxious to get back on track. At my age especially, it doesn’t take much to get out of shape. You have a letter sitting on my desk from Human Resources that we all received basically confirming your pay rate for the coming year. Sometime in August let’s get together and talk about some new goals for the coming year.
We have been doing a lot in the building: trees and benches on the front patio, umbrella tables and chairs on the back patio; new furniture, blinds, and painting in Oddy; new lights, painted ceiling and walls in gameroom, a new vinyl wood flooring just finished yesterday, new art projects for the walls, and then two new (actually reconditioned like new) Brunswick Gold Crown 9′ tournament pool tables coming in a few weeks, along with about a dozen cushioned barroom style stools. I think students will be pretty pumped when they see everything.
